Website launched

Following the covid-19 pandemic, LCTR supporters began working on a website for our organisation to act as an online platform that would enable us to stay in touch with all our supporters during this time of social distancing.

Following the hard work of LCTR supporters Heather and Zac, that site has now launched! This will give us a space where we can provide updates on what LCTR has been doing and allow us to publish statements and other content on a dedicated site.

Amongst this content is our dedicated blog, which will be a space for trans people to put forward their opinions, experiences, thoughts and analysis. The transphobic media that is dominant in Britain makes it very hard for us to engage with mainstream outlets in a fair and equal way, so we hope this blog will provide a space for trans people to make our voices heard whilst building our community and culture. If you would like to write for the blog, please email us at trans.labourcampaign@gmail.com with a brief description of what you would like to write about.

From our site you can get in touch with the campaign more easily; feel free to send us an email if you would like to get involved. Further information is available here, including the members of our elected committee, and a record of our work so far in this news section. We will also be hosting content related to our upcoming campaigns and using this site as a platform for them, so be sure to watch out for them soon!

In solidarity,
